An Adventure of the Heart

And she’s off and buzzing once more!

Omakyehstih Collective flying east! On the way to KCK!

Our dear fearless Queen BZ has ventured to the land of her ancestors to learn yet another tale untold so that she may bring it to the world.

However, this time she brings with her a team of worker bees from her Omakyehstih Collective hive to bring the story of the Conley Sister’s to life.

This week they travelled to Kansas City, Kansas to speak with locals and collect stories about three sisters: Lyda, Helena, and Ida of the Wyandot tribe. They were responsible for defending the Huron Indian Cemetery going so far as to barricade themselves in a shack to protect sacred graves when developers threatened to grab up the land!
